About this course
Two kinds of people take this course: the owner who is already selling something and is tired of posting into silence, and the career changer who wants a marketing job and needs work to show rather than a claim to make. The material is the same for both, because the skill is the same.
You work on one business for the whole course - your own, or a brief we set - and you build as you go: a positioning statement, a thirty-day content calendar, short-form videos you filmed and cut yourself, branded graphics, a live Meta campaign, a Google Search campaign, a landing page with a working payment link, and a monthly report that explains what the money bought.
You leave with that portfolio, a set of templates you keep using, and the ability to read an ad dashboard and say which campaign to kill and which to fund. You will also know what to charge if you take the skill to a client.
Teaching is in person and hands-on. You bring a laptop and a phone, and most sessions end with something published rather than with notes.

Questions people ask
Do I need an existing business to take this course?
No. If you do not have one, you work on a brief we provide and build the same portfolio. If you do have one, you will be marketing it for real throughout the course.
Will I run real adverts during the course?
Yes — the paid advertising module is hands-on, because running one live campaign teaches more than watching ten. Any ad spend goes to Meta or Google directly rather than to Toko Academy, so ask the admissions team how your cohort handles it when you register.
What equipment and software do I need?
A laptop and a smartphone with a working camera, which you will use for the content and short-form video modules. The tools we teach — Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads and Google Analytics — are all free to open and cover the coursework.
Do I get a certificate, and is it a Meta or Google certification?
You receive a Toko Academy certificate of completion. It is not Meta Blueprint or Google Skillshop certification - those are the vendors' own exams, which you are free to sit afterwards. This course teaches the skills, not the exam.
Will this get me a job or clients?
We cannot promise either, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can do is make sure you finish with campaigns that ran, results you can explain, and a portfolio and pitch that answer what employers and clients actually ask for.
How are classes run and how do I pay?
Sessions are taught in person and are practical, so you should plan to attend with your laptop. The admissions team confirms the current fee, the cohort schedule and any instalment option before you register.
