About this course
This course is for people who want to build automation that earns money — freelancers and agency builders, operations staff drowning in repetitive work, and business owners whose team answers the same twelve questions every day. You do not need to be a developer. You do need to be willing to read an API's documentation and write a little code when the no-code route runs out, which it will.
You will build a customer support assistant for a real Abuja business that answers from its own price list and policies, hands over to a human when it should, and runs on WhatsApp where the customers already are. Alongside it you will build automations that connect the tools a small business already uses — forms, spreadsheets, email, payment notifications — so work happens without anyone remembering to do it.
You leave with two or three working systems, a deployed WhatsApp assistant, a costing model so you can price a build properly, and an honest measurement framework that tells a client whether the thing you sold them actually helped.
Sessions are in person and entirely hands-on. You bring a business — yours, an employer's or one you have permission to work with — and you build for it throughout. The free tiers of the platforms we use cover most of the course; we are explicit about where costs begin.

Questions people ask
Do I need to know how to code?
Not to start. Most of the course uses visual automation platforms and configuration. There is one module on writing small code steps, and we teach that from the beginning — but if the idea of ever reading an API documentation page puts you off, this course will frustrate you.
What will the AI models and platforms cost me during the course?
Free tiers cover most of what we build. You should budget a small amount — realistically a few thousand naira — for API usage and any paid tier you choose for your final project. We show you exactly where charges begin and how to estimate cost per conversation before you quote a client.
Do I need a business to build for?
Yes, ideally. Bring your own, your employer's, or one you have permission to work with — everything you build uses its real documents and enquiries. If you genuinely have none, we will assign you a realistic case-study business, but your own is far more valuable to you afterwards.
Can I really deploy on WhatsApp, or is that just theory?
You deploy it. We work through WhatsApp Business API setup, business verification and message templates, and you send real messages to real numbers. Verification depends on Meta's process and can take some days, so we start it early in the course.
AI tools change constantly. Will this be out of date in six months?
The specific models and platform screens will change; the skills will not. Conversation design, grounding a model in real documents, connecting systems, handling failure and measuring results carry across whatever tool you use next. We teach the pattern as well as the button.
What do I leave with?
A deployed WhatsApp assistant grounded in a real business's knowledge, working automations connecting its existing tools, a measurement dashboard, a costing and pricing model, and a Toko Academy certificate awarded on completion of the final build.
